Roles in Snowflake, like SAP roles, provide an excellent means of granting and limiting data access. Assigning roles to users simplifies user and security management and supports good governance. APOS Live Data Gateway uses shared connectivity and Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities within its Data Virtualization Layer to enforce Snowflake roles in SAP Analytics Cloud and other consuming applications.
