High-performance, live data connectivity between SAP Analytics Cloud and Snowflake Data Cloud
Challenge
A Europe-based global healthcare company deployed Snowflake Data Cloud to harmonize diverse data on a single platform for use with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), and for general analytics reporting and visualizations. Because they use other SAP solutions, the choice of SAP Analytics Cloud as a reporting and visualization tool was a natural one. However, SAP Analytics Cloud does not support live data connectivity with Snowflake Data Cloud, and import connectivity was impractical because large quantities of data create performance and data latency issues in SAP Analytics Cloud.
